Cruz's speaking problem is he was trained as a lawyer and his public speaking style reflects that. Agreed, and I'm backing Cruz. LOL I liked how Trump was "plain speaking", but then I tuned him out when he went nuclear negative. That being said, I was impressed with Trump's statement last night.

I agree with that. I don’t have any illusions that he is perfect. Don’t like Rubio’s voice either.

I think Trump style was to break through - and he did - and he will tone it up or down as needed but as we move forward he will work on (I assume and hope) sounding presidential. I can't completely blame Trump for going too far with the negatives, since the media was egging him on and giving him unlimited "free TV time" so he would keep it up. I do hope you are right that he will tone it down now because I do NOT want to have a Rubio nomination....which is what we will have if Cruz and Trump don't focus their attention on Rubio instead of cutting each other's throats. Take Rubio down....and then they can focus on each other.
