Delegate count to date:

Cruz 8, Trump 7, Rubio 7, Carson 3, Bush 1, Paul 1

You left out the three uncommitted RNC delegates. As Bush and Kasich are lost causes, those RNC delegates will, in essence, go to Rubio (the backup GOPe favorite) at the convention.

The delegate count is actually:
Cruz 8, Trump 7, Rubio 7, Uncommitted RNC 3, Carson 3, Bush 1, Paul 1

In essence, the delegate count is:
Cruz 8, Trump 7, Rubio 10, Carson 3, Bush 1, Paul 1

Not exactly true. Iowa has to vote for the candidates in that proportion on the first vote. On the second vote they can vote for anyone. And since not a single delegate has been selected yet, that will be in June. There is no way to determine how they would vote on the second ballot and on.
