Cruz campaigned in Iowa, Trump has been campaigning all over the place. Cruz was expected to do well in Iowa. I wish he didn’t have the citizenship issue, I would be more excited for him if it wasn’t for that.
I just can’t wrap my head around how someone can be natural born citizen when one parent was not a citizen, both parents moved to and lived in Canada for several years and their son had Canadian citizenship up until 2013. And they were not attached to the US government in any way while living in Canada, as far as I know. Is the definition of NBC that loose?
I think if you are in the military or embassy, your child should considered born on American soil.
He can’t

I like Cruz more than Trump, but that NBC issue is gonna hang over Ted if he’s the nominee. The Democrats will run to town on that issue alone. It’s a legitimate problem for Cruz and I wished he would have addressed it head on before announcing his presidential run.
