Steve King sent a tweet that it was based on “insider” information. Of course he couldn’t vet it or disclose it,,it was a rumor and he ran with it (or he created it himself). It’s called dirty politics.
CNN reporter Chris Moody tweeted the assumption at 4:20pm, King picked up the rumor and tweeted at 7:20pm. Probably threw the whole contest : )
CNN reported that Carson was dropping out last night. You need to ask CNN where they got it.
