They usually don’t. This was played perfectly by the GOPe so far:

1) put up a roadblock to Trump sweeping, enough to create doubt;

2) remove debris like Carson and scatter hi support;

3) begin the Rubio “surge”;

4) bait and switch the “conservative enough” Rubio for Cruz

Yes, the establishment is back in the saddle again but without its beloved Jebbie. Otherwise, pretty much normal for uninformed voters.

Then their plan is not working.

I’m sure that you noticed that all through the count, Rubio gained on Trump, but not on Cruz. He was taking Trump’s votes, not Cruz’ votes.

The whole MSM/GOPe scam has been blown out of the water.
