You are wrong. You are right in saying that "they can't do squat if conservatives coalesce around the conservative", but you are wrong in thinking that "that is Cruz". It isn't. It may or may not be Trump, but it definitely isn't Cruz. It has to be a conservative who is capable of drawing votes from working blacks/hispanics, and/or blue collar democrats. Pyrrhic victories get you nowhere. And that is all a Cruz victory would be.

You sound just like the GOPe. A conservative can’t win so we need a New York liberal. Well I say to hell with that. For just one more time before I move on I would like cast an affirmative vote for conservatism in the Presidential poll booth. And that guy is Cruz.
