Don’t know much yet about Colorado, except that it’s a lot cooler than Texas!

Brekinridge was VP of the US prior to the Civil War, became the Confederate Secretary of War. That's why they changed the name of the town to Breckenridge. He was the only US Senator convicted of treason by the US Senate.
