Any of the front-runners would be better than the alternative. None of the contenders will have blanket authority to change much without working with a GOP congress that has repeatedly stabbed us in the back and is all about the status quo.
The reality our nation faces is grim if our leaders refuse to set priorities, slash spending, and gain control of our debt/deficits. They don’t have the stomach for it and if they did implement huge spending cuts they would lose power in 2 years because we have turned into Greece. Everyone votes for their comfort and there is something for everyone on the national credit card.
Sorry I am so pessimistic, but it truly amazes me how so many believe “insert your candidate here” will fix everything. D.C. does not work like that and we don’t have a congress willing to make a stand (on anything).
There will be major disappointments with a few victories here and there for conservatives if we win.
I see you have refrained from anyone’s koolaid.
