The video, which is in Dutch, mentions about designing a protection system for the birds, also it would probably only be used on smaller drones with little likely hood of any damage.

Eagles normally crash into things, at high speed too.

So now we will be treated to eagles, presumably in little football helmets, and with NFL pads, streaking through the sky to attack fun toys that everyone is convinced terrorists are salivating to use.

Is there a point anymore where anyone can decide that government is utterly off it’s rocker? If a drone is that terrifying to people, how do they get through their day anyway?

And drones fly for what, 15 or 20 minutes max? So what is it? Will a drone be spotted and a van goes careening through the streets to the location to release the eagle to enforce the little special drone no fly zone?

Or will it be like a standby force, widely deployed across the nation, little eagles in readiness, wearing their tiny football helmets like some kind of low rent NORAD, ready to keep us safe in the homeland? I can see them now, sitting in lawn chairs, smoking a cigarette like a spitfire pilot outside the squadron office in the blitz, waiting on that phone to ring again.

Remember, if you see something, say something. Well, I think I see something,,,, oh, nevermind.

They ought to just train them to drop a fish into the middle of the propellers. That would crash it!
