I already told you that it’s not ideal, but just allowing insurance to trade across state lines is a big deal.

Why?

Because for a doctor or hospital to collect on the bill, they will now have to deal with as many different insurance companies and their State insurance commissioners and regulations as their patients hail from. You think they have paperwork now, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
