Right now I am reading James MacGregor Burns bio on FDR and he wasn’t a Socialist. In fact FDR did not have any rooted Ideology or Philosophy at all. Basically he was looking for solutions he thought would work. Now I will agree that he had a lot of Lefties in his Brain Trust that were Socialists and got his ear on things.
Trump will need first rate advisers to help him.
With all due respect Captain Peter Blood, even if FDR did not know what socialism is, although his heart was arguably in the right place, he thought like a socialist.
