The weather models I trust most are slowly moving the start of the storm back.
Here in my county in NW Iowa it's now looking more and more like it's going to start up about the time the precinct caucuses begin, at 7 pm.
Points south of us are likely going to start getting hit even earlier.
What that means for turn out is anybody's guess.
Thought you would all like to know.

A heavenly intervention? We shall perhaps see who has the most committed supporters.

I don’t know if Karl and his weather machine are involved. Jeb Bush’s elderly supporters are the most likely to be scared off by snow and ice.

Was it Rove, Bush or both that controlled the Katrina machine ?
I forget
I KNOW it was the Republicans that caused it

Maybe Cruz planned to have Trump ahead in the polls by now so that his supporters assume he’s going to win and therefore feel they are safe staying home to avoid the snow. Cruz had to do a little worse in the debate and send out the scary mailer to get him down in the polls a little to have this effect. Then the Trumpsters stay home and he can have a blow-out.

I have always heard that Rats and young people don’t do vote as much in bad weather, so it might help Clinton. Might help Cruz as Trump may have more first time voters.

LOL, Rove is telling the Jebbites not to car pool because then it would only take one accident to give Jeb a big fat goose egg.

I’ve never been to Iowa, but I’m guessing that 6-12 inches isn’t that big a deal for the folks in Iowa when spread out over Monday night and Tuesday. Since most of this would come after the caucuses, it probably won’t have much affect on turnout.

Good plan.
I suppose this storm will hit my cousins in Missouri, too, unless they’re visiting somewhere warm.

Perhaps not.
We have snowplows.
But the speculation over the next 48 hours will be fun to watch nonetheless.
