I’m trying to find an instance where a candidate used the terms “VIOLATION” and “there will be follow up” in their fliers. THAT smacks of intimidation.
People may be motivated to caucus alright,,but it may be for a candidate other than Cruz.

Good grief! Ted Cruz has NOTHING to apologize for! He’s done nothing that many others—Republicans—haven’t done before in Iowa. I’m astonished at the “bizarreness” going on here on Free Republic. JimRob is, too, as his post said when he called for us to STOP tearing each other apart over this Trump/Cruz rivalry.
Ted Cruz is a conservative. While I like Mr. Trump okay and attended his awesome rally here (how can you NOT like him?), the fact remains that he is a largely unknown factor, because of his past liberalism and coziness with Democrats, but it’s also stupid to be ripping into the one verifiable Christian conservative in this race—Ted Cruz.

And I think Cruz Campaign would have avoided the creepy factor if they had limited the mailer to just the name of the addressee, such as: Hi, I’m Ted Cruz and looking through public records we found you have not participated in the republican caucus in the last (BLANK) years. I invite you to come to (LOCATION) and caucus for me to help turn around this country. I am asking for your support...blah, blah, blah...
Could even address the envelope with IMPORTANT CAUCUS INFORMATION or some such bilge. I am sorry. I said it multiple times last night on the all nighter thread and I will say it again. Someone in the Cruz Campaign stepped on their wanger.

I am just wondering, if you can give us an example of a previous flier used that told they voter they were in ‘VIOLATION’ and records are being kept on their votes and ‘follow up’ may be necessary.
Can you show us a time when the follow up threat was in any flier?
