I originally contributed to the Cruz campaign and later decided to back Trump. That said, I am really angry at this Mercer guy. He seems to be destroying the Cruz campaign with bad ideas and the money to implement bad ideas. This is a drag.
The republican party needs Cruz in the future and not to be destroyed by this idiot who just burst on the scene recently. Mercer is looking to back a candidate who will help him fight the IRS for the Billions in taxes that his company owes to them.
Mercer is a self interested jerk, IMHO. I am not sure what Cruz can do to stop him.
