The staffer who most likely came up with this brilliant idea has already been identified. The “professor” used it in a campaign in Alaska and the numbers showed that it worked. We all must to remember that Ted Cruz is so much more intelligent and more wise than the rest of us that we simply cannot possibly understand the nuances of his actions that sometimes seem to contradict his conservative ideals. /s
