great info on intro. thank you!
I think caucuses are basically hardcore Party members getting together and debating who they should vote for. If your candidate does not get 15% then your vote does not count and must vote for someone else and that is when the campaigning begins for the lesser candidates like Bush.
In the general election probably. I don’t know if it is Federal law I don’t think so, likely state laws depending on which state. But this is a party election scattered among 1,700+ R precincts. May not be true, and if someone complains, the hats fits in coat jacket pockets, and when ding dongs are not looking, pop it back on the head. :-)
Holier than thou does not win votes.
She made the thing too personal and would never let it go. When the crowd laughed at her on her Rosie gotcha question she became furious. Now it is her personal mission.
The Dims still have that electioneering process and the 15% threshold.
The GOP basically just has a secret ballot—write Trump on it and put it in the box.
Read Iowa has an app to be able to count votes faster and report in.
Hope the people who show up are so many they must go to larger facilities.
Someone who is an actual caucus organizer in Iowa explained it to me.
It's why the Republican caucuses take relatively little time compared to D's. Republicans respect the voice of the voter who chooses a smaller-polling candidate. D's try to force them to switch.
Oh, that is how it was explained the other day but they were probably Dems. It is looking like a big win.
That's not good, not who votes, it's who counts the votes. Microsoft, Google?
He might come back to vote for a Democrat. Happens a lot here in TX.
For someone who has never run for office, Trump’s campaign has been outstanding for a rookie. Except for that one time the mic malfunctioned.:)
Do caucus goers know the outcome before they leave.
What prevents hanky panky from happening when counting
paper ballots?
That malfunctioning mic was one of Trump’s finest moments.
Not sure how it works. People may count votes. They were having to drive the ballots to certain locations but now can use app.
you’re kidding.. Clown Possee is still around?
Several of what are labeled Anti-Freeper sites are pretty innocuous. Just alternate political sites for those on the right. Most that I have checked out over the years are NOT FR haters (although no doubt some members might be)
I have spent most of my time the past years at FaceBook.. MANY of my better FReeper friends are there, so I keep up with them. There are also various political groups and at this time groups supporting various candidates. Trump has a pretty nice site there and so does Cruz (and the others but with time limitations is is pretty touch and go for me)
And I am STILL waiting for the like button here. We have been after John Rob for years on this one.
Hello everyone. Working 12 hours shift at front desk at hotel & a little quiet right now so will catch up with this thread.
NOTE: I lived my first couple years in Davenport IA. Don’t recall anything. My dad was in Chiropractic college at Palmer. I have wanted for ever so long to go there and check out things
