You people are believing the ridiculous mainstream media’s last attempt to bail out Trump.

No-one watched Trump’s sick attempt to use veterans as a campaign prop; Fox’s debate was viewership was unharmed. And just watch the new polling data: Trust me, the IBD/TIPP poll was no outlier. Trump’s numbers are going down nationally.

Just listen to talk radio. People like Levin, Rush, et al. aren’t stupid. If Trump is the nominee, they’ll have created a real problem for themselves. There’s a reason they’re ratcheting up the criticisms of Trump’s liberalism, and it sure as Hell isn’t that they’re trying to dispirit the conservative base in November. They’re feeling increasingly safe because they know they won’t have to eat their words.

I might agree with you that Trump's event wasn't a "ratings bonanza", I disagree with the claim that debate viewership was unharmed. It was the second lowest rated debate, and had half the viewers of the previous FNC debate that had the exact same moderators.

Kelly, Baer, Wallace debate #1: 25 million viewers. Kelly, Baer, Wallace debate #2: 13 million viewers.

Debate #7 only out performed debate #6 by one million viewers. Debate #6 was on FBN which less people have access to. Heck, on TWC I have to search the channel guide for a while to find FBN. It's something like 300 channels away in the guide.

I totally get your point about the vets fundraiser. I just don't think a claim that FOX was unharmed by Trump's withdrawal is valid.
