“Isn’t caucusing public? If you don’t show up, your neighbors notice that, don’t they?”

Uh, no. Obviously you are not from one of the few caucus states. I am: Colorado. And I attend caucus. Here, caucuses are by voting precinct. Only a VERY tiny percentage ever show up at caucus; a dozen per precinct would be a BIG turnout.

AND, not only do I usually not know the few people who DO show up, but I probably only know a couple of people TOTAL in the whole precinct, which btw, I don’t even know what the physical boundaries are for my precinct.

I appreciate the information. Happily, I am in a primary state.

What exactly is the fuss then, if the “neighbors” might not even be known by those who received the mailer?
