I have a sign displayed on the window next to my front door.
It says “Going door to door? Please go away.”
For some reason, my husband wouldn’t let me post the sign I read elsewhere that said “Trespassers will be killed and eaten”. (just a little humor here) : )
Calling me or knocking at my door would be a request to which I could decline to answer, refuse to open - or, in the alternative, not give my support. This, OTOH, may be considered a veiled threat, and a direct invasion of privacy - it is harassment.
