Can you FOCUS? This thread is about a mind-numbingly idiotic, insulting mailer the obviously inept Cruz marketing team sent to perfectly innocent voters. Don't keep bringing Donald Trump into this, the Cruz campaign did this to themselves. As someone who likes Cruz but as a marketing professional is flabbergasted by how incredibly bad this mailer is, I have suggested what the Cruz campaign needs to do is VERY STRONGLY denounce the mailer and FIRE those responsible. As I said: focus. This is not about Donald Trump, this is about what the Cruz campaign should do to mitigate the damage caused by this offensive mailer. What should they do?

And please don't say this is some sort of specialized mailer that very few people see. This is all over the Internet. What should the Cruz campaign do?

LOL, I’m not worried about it. It’s a little internet tabloid story that no serious journalist would focus on.

I get junk mail like this all the time for insurance and whatnot. It’s just a standard marketing tactic. You open it, laugh at it and throw it out. No one who was leaning to vote for Cruz is going to vote against him because of this.

What they should do is say exactly what their campaign spokesman just said, and pivot to talk about real issues that affect the future of this country.
