Some of my ribbing comes with a hint of truthfulness to it though. The mocking of Trump at the beginning of the debate last night, the whining about too many mean questions... there are things I find very off-putting about Cruz, because he struggles mightily to not come off as a total phony, and most times he loses the struggle.

It reminds me (and I’m not saying he’s anything like her policy-wise) of when Clinton tries to tell jokes about the internet to room full of 20-something neckbeards.

Trump sure can put his foot in his mouth with his twitter slamming and mockery on the campaign trail, but at least when he does it, he’s quite obviously being himself, and not just telling a joke that was vetted by a Luntz focus group.

I’m just really sick of the phony lawyery career politician types this cycle.

Nothing phony about Cruz. He’s a big fan of pop culture references, SNL skits, etc. He did a great job with his opening remarks making fun of Trump. I LOLed.
