“because of some birther crap, then so be it”

So ask yourself if Obama had been born in Kenya to a US mother and a Kenyan father would you consider it birther crap? If he showed a Kenyan birth certificate listing his mom as a US citizen instead of the fake HI birth certificate would that make it birther crap acceptable for you?

By saying what you are essentially saying, you are OK with the above scenario. Where do you draw the line?

For me, it’s a matter of principle. I don’t care how awesome Ted or Rubio might be. According to my understanding neither are eligible.

The only reason that 0' was "born in Hawaii" was because his mother did not pass the residency requirement to confer citizenship at birth. Thus, he was born in Kenya, and like many at the time, the mom submits a birth blurb for the local US papers. I clearly would not and do not accept that, but too many 'Rats did and did accept it, twice.

Cruz's mom fulfilled all the residency requirements (see here) to confer birth citizenship, aka NBC.

The U.S. citizen parent was physically present in the United States for at least years, including at least 2 years after 14 years of age.
