Hahah man I can’t even say anything because I did too!! You stopped me dead in my tracks.

You and I agree on a helluva lot more then we know. Let's team up here and make it happen. I don't entirely trust Trump. I'd really like to see Cruz as his Veep. All I do know is:

Trump is killing it when it comes to smashing the establishment. I'm behind that 100%.

And, if Trump does indeed stab us all in the back, I think it's safe to say that the ballot box will need to be abandoned, and we will need to seek other remedies to get America back on track.

Trump is actually starting to get downright annoying.

Ted Cruz brought this on himself by challenging Trump one on one. This is a primary. Each wants to win. Its not unusual for the front runner to be challenged and its not unusual for the front runner to ignore those challenges. In this case Trump dismissed the challenge in his own way.

On the other hand, I saw three candidates on the Trump for Vets charity rally last night, that all showed a real sense of class. Two of those candidates don't stand a chance, but they showed some class, nonetheless. I particularly thought Huckabee's comments were a real class act.

If our candidates cant stand the scrutiny of our own candidates (NBC challenges) how do they expect to stand up to the democrat machine challenge? I like what Cruz stands for, but he just may not be the guy. May not be his fault. May just be the circumstances. I just don't want to spend the next 9 months arguing whether he is NBC or not.

I would still support any of the republican candidates over Hillary, Bernie, or Biden. I'd hold my nose for anyone other than Trump or Cruz, but I would support them. In my gut though, I really think Trump is the only candidate who has a chance of beating the democrat machine. So far he is the only one beating the GOPe.

Very unconstitutional thinking. Two wrongs make a right is what you are saying. Ignore the constitution is what you are saying. Obviously whatever is convenient and fits in with the sub par mentality of the uneducatd voter is all that counts. What do you think gave us Obama? Had the parties adhered to the constitution, Obama would never have been allowed to run. BOTH PARENTS CITIZENS AND BORN ON THE SOIL OF AMERICA. That is what the Constitution says, but the progressives that want a new world order want to ignore it. ARE YOU for the New World Order which brings with it open borders, loss of sovereignty, loss of culture, and loss of all that is American?

One parrent citizen DOES NOT a natural born citizen make. BOTH parents and born on the soil necessary according to the Constitution which is SUPPOSED TO BE the LAW OF TH LAND! Time to uphold it....what’s left of it!

Tell me one thing you learned from last nights debate that you did not already know?(issue related)

The talking point memo must have gone out early this morning. I've heard this particular meme several times today.

You're right. We didn't learn anything new last night.

Some things in particular we, again, did not learn:

What recently prompted Trump to consider himself a Republican after considering himself a Democrat for so long?

What was the reason for his recent change from "very pro-choice" to pro-life?

How does his love of Eminent Domain square with Constitional and conservative principles?

How, exactly, does he expect to get Mexico to build the wall? ("They just will" is not an acceptable answer)

Why does he think that amnesty is fine in ANY circumstance, even after building the wall?

What conservative principles is he willing to compromise on in all of the "great deals" he plans to make with Pelosi and Reid?

Yeah. We didn't get to learn any of that, by design.

That's why he didn't show up at the debate. Good strategy to win the nomination; hiding your weaknesses from the voters. That's what he wants.

It seems his supporters here have no interest in learning those things either, which is disheartening.

No.

It sounds more like some lame excuse my 13 year old would offer to avoid making his bed.

Trump won’t face Cruz one-on-one because he knows his castle of cards would fall to the ground.

Trump is an empty $2,000 suit.

Trump is a childish youth and is not fit to lead.

Since when is the Constitution to be ignored because the will of the people wants to play games the easy way? The will of the people need to call an Article 5 convention and have the states ratify any changes to the Constitution’s provisions.

I’ve been back and forth on this but I just don’t know if I can any longer compromise my principles by holding my nose yet another year and vote in a RINO. Either conservatives are going to get their message out loud and clear or we are truly a dead party

To some extent I agree and I in no way can be nasty to you for having the beliefs that you do. Truly I can’t. Conservatism died with Regan. I too am happy truly happy Trump did get in and shake the hell out of the establishment. That was truly fun at first. The further this went along though my sense got the better of me. If he is the one to win it all and goes off history and becomes a RINO he may tarnish what is left across anyone supporting the Republican brand. This too includes conservatives. What little we have left anymore in the conservative movement may very well go down with it. The media will do their absolute best to align him directly to conservative principles, succeed at it and we are done. We all know he isn’t a conservative but we cannot allow him to tote the line as he is. Call it as it is, Trump is an orphan to any party affiliation. We may have truly our first independent in our lifetime

His supporters here already know the answers to the things you listed because they have been listening and reading his positions which are repeated verbally and written on his website. STOP, LOOK, LISTEN applies to more than a railroad track!

That is quite a kettle of fish. Makes me think about Miss Saigon, the plight of those children was very poignant. If their Dad’s claimed them I think they could have gotten US citizenship. This article discusses the rights of children born of American servicemen. http://www.pbs.org/independentlens/blog/explainer-how-can-you-be-half-american-and-still-not-a-citizen/

The post you were responding to was for NBC which they would not be entitled to, having only 1 citizen parent.

That’s a cheap knockoff. I have one of Trump’s hats, and it was made in the USA by Bayside.

It doesn’t bother you that Cruz knows according to the Constitution he isn’t a NBC? His prof from Harvard, Dr Tribe has confirmed as much. Cruz is not releasing his consulate form, which he would have needed to become an American citizen, why? Is it because some iterations of the form have included the statement that the bearer is not a natural born citizen & is not entitled to be President?

Doesn’t it trouble you that knowing this would be an issue he thought not first of his country, as John McCain did, who cleared up the issue before running but just ran for office, embroiling us all in this issue that could derail the Republican ticket at an inopportune moment. To me it says worlds about his character.
