My initial remark had to do with how Cruz defines “amnesty,” and my second “remark” (just a link to legal permanent resident) reflects the fact that what Cruz calls “not amnesty” (let ‘em stay, just don’t let ‘em vote) is theoretically possible, and holding the line depends on Congress and the courts.
