If Trump’s persona was just a public display, why would he leave that private phone message?
I, you, anyone, probably would dread having his or her personal correspondence, years old and totally out of context, broadcast like this.
Trump thought wrong, the journalist was not a gentleman but was a cowardly cad who betrayed the confidence and private correspondence of a gentleman. In fact, he did more. He broadcast it in way designed to harm Trump. So the journalist (I repeat myself here... they are all cowardly cads) is a cad AND a snake.
You wonder why men are beaten down and wussified nowadays? You wonder why decent people don't want to run for public office and try to fix the country? Look in the mirror.
It is because metrosexuals like you and the journalist can't take a joke like men without it messing with your makeup and hairdo. Then running around trying to destroy the person who told the joke. You and the journalist are why we get Odungo for eight years. Maybe Hillary too.
