I didn’t get my way with McCain, but I held my nose and voted for him anyway, mostly because of Palin. I didn’t get my way with Romney, but I held my nose and voted for him anyway. (You can go back farther and start talking about Dole, if we want.)
We’re sick of holding our nose and voting for losers. We’re sticking to principle. Call it “taking our ball home” if you want, but we’re done.
