The (D)onald is losing or barely tied in most head-to-head polls against the (D)emocrat, whether it be Hillary or Bernie.
This is because people like myself, my wife, both my parents, my sister, her spouse, and my best friend simply won’t vote for that poser. So - sure - Trump might be an unstoppable train for the nomination, but it’ll be a runaway train ending in a fireball crash in the general.
So, keep supporting him. We’ll lose the election. Or, you can vote for someone who is doing BETTER in the head-to-heads like Cruz.
The people I mentioned will be GIVING our vote, in good conscious, to Cruz via write-in, if necessary. Weâre tired of voting for the pick we donât really believe in, whether it be Dole, McCain, or Romney.
You can argue all you want about the vote going to Hillary. Iâm telling you right now: by supporting TRUMP in the primaries, you are the one giving your votes away to Hillary because so many of us find him so unpalatable, that we simply wonât vote for him.
So, if Cruz does better than Trump in head-to-heads NOW, who is really giving votes away, hm?
A couple of observations:
1) When Trump first announced, he was not leading, now he is virtually in every state...in most, by a lot.
2) When Trump first announced his unfavorables were horrible, that has steadily changed and many polls show he is more favorable than other candidates
3) The nomination must be secured first, however, there is a lot of time before the general election. As the time goes on, I believe his numbers will increase to where he leads the Dem candidates.
Hmmm...maybe YOU should be giving that some thought.
That’s right if you hold your breath and don’t get your way...just burn everything to ground to hell with the rest of the country...
“This is because people like myself, my wife, both my parents, my sister, her spouse, and my best friend simply wonât vote for that poser”
Well, of course not! You’re a Democrat troll!
Sounds like a threat.
I think Trump will attract Plenty of cross-over Democrats that don’t like what Obama has done and a lot of independents who left the liberal Republican party, myself included.
That will more than make up for those of you stomping your feet because your perfect candidate (with a multitude of flaws) didn’t win.
