At least that would be the first time I ever heard of a negative ad against a candidate for something that happened before he was 4 years old. Cruz lied to everyone when he claimed, as a lawyer, that he didn't know having a Canadian birth certificate meant he was a Canadian citizen. "Smartest guy in the room" thinks we are all a bunch of idiots.
Cruz knew he was a citizen but kept one foot in Canada in case this American political chase didn't work out.
