How come The Smartest Man In The US Senate doesn’t know the RNC rules about non-sanctioned debates?
Cruz is debating with himself.
It’s amazing how good Republicans are at picking the wrong candidate.
Why did we pick McCain?
Admittedly, the fervor was burning hot for the First Black President and we might not have won anyway.
Why did we pick Romney ?
A bland, middle-of-the-road decent guy but very disappointing in his debates with Obama. As bad as Obama’s first term was, it should have been a shoo-in
But maybe we didn’t have any great candidates running those two times.
We have one this time. Ted Cruz is everything conservatives have ever wanted. A proven Senator who kept his promises. A man with a plan and a decent man.
Yet we seem bound and determined to pick the Blond Blowhard. He’s not attractive, he’s not consistently conservative, he’s petty and domineering. Not a nice guy.
How sad it is.
Um, Cruz needs to give this a rest. This is getting old real fast. Debates are not what makes a resilent leader and President.
I’m already tired of Cruz. Would have been my 1st or 2nd choice, but he’s wearing on me ...
What is this about?

I hear that @SenTedCruz’s $$ man, Robert Mercer, a good man, is very angry because Cruz lied to him about liquidating his (Ted’s) holdings.?
Cruz is right about ending the ethanol mandate. Blending more and more ethanol into gasoline will require spending money on infrastructure that is not yet in place and selling more fuel that older and more specialized engines cannot take. It will also raise food prices, according to a 2014 Congressional Budget Office analysis.
And the supposed benefits? The countryâs recent uptick in oil production eliminates the already weak argument for ethanolâs energy security benefits. Another major purported benefit is a claimed reduction in transportation sector greenhouse emissions. But the CBO found that replacing gasoline with corn ethanol has only limited potential for reducing emissions (and some studies indicate that it could increase emissions).
