Most Trumpets claim to disavow the RNC.

Perhaps you’re an unsanctioned Trumpet?

What an empty head!

Problem is, sparky, that you just contradicted yourself. If Trump is a leftie, then he would handle these cats with ease.

No, there is no contradiction. Trump could only agree with them. From his interview a few months ago: He wants to eliminate Obama care because “it’s a disaster” and he will “replace it with something terrific.” What is that something terrific? “I’m going to take care of everybody.”

When asked who would pay for it, since he is taking care of everybody, he answered, “the government.”

Funny, a conservative would never say the government pays for anything. The people, the taxpayers, working men and women... any of these are the correct answer. Being a leftist, it never occurred to Trump. He doesn’t understand conservative thought because it is foreign to him. Never mind about the whole government taking care of everybody thing. He still thinks the government pays for things. So does Clinton and Sanders.

He is smart enough not to play on a field of Cruz’s choosing. If Cruz were going to go Trump, he should arrange for Jerry Jones to hold the shoot-out in Cowboy Stadium.

According to the grass roots donors, Cruz won the last debate by noting the moral depavity of “New York Values.”

His donations jumped off the charts minutes after his comment.

Calling attention to Trumps total lack of charitable donations, to drag him to a debate that he has already lost,
Sounds virtuous to me.

I was led to believe Cruz stood for ‘original intent’ of the Constitution. Now I find out he thinks he is entitled to an eligibility exemption. Cruz has taken an oath to defend and protect the Constitution.

If Cruz will two time his oath then I have no cause to think that he will not two time US when it serves his own purposes. Cruz is not eligible to hold the office and he knows it.

Trump simply cannot debate anybody anywhere.

He lives by vacuous hip shots, and childish facial contortions.

You’re the one who is totally ignorant on the Constitution. Making up that it says you have to be born on U.S. territory to be natural-born is no different than making up that it guarantees the right to abort your baby.

“Natural-born” has nothing to do with geography. It just means you were a citizen automatically by birth as opposed to having to apply to gain citizenship. The rule in England at the time said as much about “natural-born subjects.”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural-born-citizen_clause

The use of the phrase “natural born” was not without precedent. Statutes in England prior to American independence used the phrase “natural born subject”. For example, the British Foreign Protestants Naturalization Act 1708:[10][11]

The children of all natural born subjects born out of the ligeance [i.e. out of England] of Her Majesty Her Heirs and Successors shall be deemed and adjudged to be natural born subjects of this Kingdom to all intents, constructions, and purposes whatsoever.

In 2000, the Congressional Research Service (CRS), in one of its reports, wrote that most constitutional scholars interpret the natural born citizen clause to include citizens born outside the United States to parents who are U.S. citizens.

Considering the history of the constitutional qualifications provision, the common use and meaning of the phrase “natural-born subject” in England and in the Colonies in the 1700s, the clause’s apparent intent, the subsequent action of the first Congress in enacting the Naturalization Act of 1790 (expressly defining the term “natural born citizen” to include a person born abroad to parents who are United States citizens), as well as subsequent Supreme Court dicta, it appears that the most logical inferences would indicate that the phrase “natural born Citizen” would mean a person who is entitled to U.S. citizenship “at birth” or “by birth”.[68]

You seem to have your own private constitution.

Cruz is perfectly eligible under the one James Madison wrote. Just check Madisons own comments on that particular subject.

Just your lack of cogent thoughts.

LOL, poor wittle Trumpy, can’t handle a question from a teen-ager.

Trump himself met with “dreamers” a couple years ago and said they were wonderful kids.

Let Trump stay in the business world. We need a candidate who will be prepared for the MSM-controlled debates in October. Trump clearly can’t take the heat.

No I am not the ignorant one. I have known longer than Cruz was birthed in Canada, what natural born means. Natural born is akin to a birthright. Parents both US citizen deliver a child on US soil.

Cruz, of Harvard Law school knows he is not eligible. But he believes he is entitled to an exemption.

Too bad for those who are ‘natural born’ can be deceived into selling out their birthright.

Ever heard of Esau, he thought so little of his birthright he sold it for a bowl of red pottage. (Lentils). Then God made sure he lost his blessing... God said he hated Esau.

Cruz was born in Canada... Not on US soil... Are you now for open borders... Ignore the Constitution at your own peril. You are not competent to use that word ‘cogent’!

LOL, poor wittle Cruzy, can’t handle a Natural Born Citizen question from those who stand by our Constitution. It’s NOT a settled matter! Cruz himself met with NY gay donors a couple months ago and said something different to them and then said something different to Iowans. Hypocritical. Let Cruz stay in the insider’s business world at Goldman-Sachs. We need a candidate like Trump who cannot be bought and who will be prepared for the MSM-controlled debates after he wins the nomination! Cruz clearly isn’t ready for prime-time. He needs to go back to the Senate and serve out his term.

Fixed it!

My guess is that tonight Rubio and Rand Paul will take this opportunity to trash team Cruz and he is going to come out of this debate looking worse. Rubio and Paul know where the soft spots are and they know how to stick the knife in.

That’s one opinion concerning the Constitution.

Certainly not one I share.

Thanks for sharing your concerns.

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump 1h1 hour ago

I hear that @SenTedCruz’s $$ man, Robert Mercer, a good man, is very angry because Cruz lied to him about liquidating his (Ted’s) holdings.?

Teds PAC should hand carry his 1 1/2 million dollar veterans contribution check to the veterans event with no strings attached tonight instead of using campaign rhetoric and holding the veterans contributions hostage shouldn’t it?
