Over two-thirds of Germans want gay marriage to be legalized, bringing gay rights in line with those of heterosexual couples, a survey by YouGov published on Thursday shows. [...]

Across the political spectrum, Germans said they wanted to see a change in the law.

A total of 61 percent of voters for Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservative Union said they were for legalization, suggesting that the Chancellor's opposition to gay marriage is now out of step with her own voter base. [...]

Sixty-eight percent of Catholics were in favor, and 67 percent of Protestants. Within both religions, just over a quarter of respondents did not want the law changed. ...

Germany will soon be under Sharia law, so it doesn’t matter what Germans think It will be remarkable to see the drastic decrease in homosexuals after a few get thrown off tall buildings in Frankfort and Deuseldorf.

What in the heck if their idea of a conservative? I know conservatism in Europe is to the left of it in the US, but really!

Once the gays are registered via marriage, they’ll be easier to find when the Muzzies take over.

A conservative in Germany would fall somewhere in the liberal or possibly progressive area of the American political scale.

a true right of center conservative does not exist in Germany, it can’t, it’s outlawed along with the NAZIs.

I will point out....from Germans who are over the age of fifty...probably less than 10-percent have some capability with a computer. If this survey was conducted via some internet site...it’s mostly with Germans who are 45 or younger. I’ve lived off and on in Germany for twenty-five years and this is one of the odd factors in most work places...where a large segment of the older population can’t use a computer...even for data input or ordering.

Exactly. Give it a generation and the German population will support executing gays by throwing them from tall buildings.

Pretending that a gay “marriage” has any connection to the real thing is not a conservative position.

That won’t stop homosexual activists from hating German conservatives more than they hate the Islamist invaders who want to behead them.

Germans have a live and let live attitude about most thing and don’t understand that some of those things will bite them in the backside one day.

In Germany a mainstream right winger would be something like a liberal USA Democrat with a little religion thrown in, and a mainstream left winger would be Green Party and the like.

A "liberal" would be something like a libertarian.
