Another is a "9/11 truther" with a website claiming that the Sept. 11 attacks were a government conspiracy. A third caucus precinct captain, who like the others attended a training session in West Des Moines last month, said the campaign's goal of having them each enlist 25 supporters was unrealistic. ...
Cruz has over 1,000 precinct chairs, a 240-plus person leadership team and over 5,000 volunteers in every one of Iowa's 99 counties (all of which Cruz has pledged to visit before the caucuses, and it looks like he'll make it happen). They're led by seasoned professionals such as Jake Dagel, who was field director for Turning Point USA...

We will see very soon. Interestingly, I think Iowa is must-win for Cruz; I think it is “win would be nice” for Trump.
But if Trump wins, with no effort, then clearly it’s all over......Trump will walk away with this.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s violence from the Trumpkins on election night. They’ll probably misunderstand the rules and then claim there’s a vast right-wing conspiracy when their votes don’t get counted.

This is a recycled story from a couple of weeks ago (just with a different date slapped on to make it seem fresh), that you guys trot out as some “cheer up Cruz supporter” BS.
Ive read the EXACT same paragraph from an old story back, I think, in December.
And of course you cite the 2 most extreme examples, and nothing else, and then go into Cruz has 500000 volunteers, 40 thousand phone calls per hour, 19 army divisions...blah blah blah.
As if Trump literally has nothing going on, but Cruz is all set to go. Yeah, ok.
Any Cruz person holding onto this nonsense, along with the “No one that goes to the rallies will show up” cliche, are setting yourselves up for a rude shock.

I’m going to point and laugh when that “Apprentice Runnerup” (a smart lovely talented woman) is celebrating a Trump Iowa victory while the genius Rovian types are asking Cruz to pay them before they bolt.
“Every time I hear that, that we’re not going to turn out, it pisses me off,” said Jeff Ostendorf of Cedar Falls. “Just keep saying that in the news, and see what happens. This is going to be a hidden wave that’s just going to steamroll the whole country. We’re not talking a few million people. Those who braved the zero degree weather Tuesday night and waited in long lines to get through magnetometers to see Trump speak had two things in common: a frustration with the country’s political status quo and, more importantly, a stated commitment to show up to do something about it on Feb. 1.
