Elected Congress members and appointed bureaucrats don't care what they're doing to America because they, in their small minds, have elevated themselves above God.

Today's America belongs to Satan, thanks to his sycophants, and he's desperate in these last days to win.

Defeat Satan at the polls and, if not there, engage in civil disobedience to these phony, perverted so=called leaders.

I wouldn’t say we Americans HATE government - although they certainly mistrust government in general and hate what it has become.

This is just another example of the left attempting to tell us what we believe.

We don’t need their help in doing that.

When I was growing up in the post-war era, the government was well-thought of, even though it was known that sometimes it messed up.

Now... it’s too big, too powerful, too removed, and too corrupt.

I know many here feel that way. Unfortunately, there’s an almost equal number of people who feel it isn’t big enough, and doesn’t do enough. It’s a makers/takers divide, and it appears to be irreconcilable.

The government doesn’t care if you hate it or even if you find it illegitimate. You will comply, or it will force you to comply.

I don't hate government, I just hate the way it is currently structured.

It's functions should be performed at the most local level possible for the function, only advancing to the next higher level when necessary.

Federal

State

County

Municipality

Family

Individual

It would be instructive to know the characteristics of the 28% who think things are going in the right direction. Liberal Dem’s? Welfarites? Polyannas? Chamber of Commerce Boosters? Brainless know-nothings? Ultra-wealthy? Politicians in office? Recent immigrants, legal and illegal?

Quote:

In America today, we are more divided as a nation than ever. If you ask 100 different people how we should fix this country, you are going to get 100 very different answers. We no longer have a single shared set of values or principles that unites us, and therefore it is going to be nearly impossible for us to come together on specific solutions.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Diversity is our strength? We are importing those who want to overthrow our existing government and CULTURE so how can we go back to “a single shared set of values and (not or) principles” and it even shows up here when the back and forth on candidates.

Where have our principles gone?

And if by some incredible miracle either Trump or Cruz does get the nomination, the elite will move heaven and earth to make sure that Hillary Clinton ends up in the White House.

No doubt, it's already happening.

When a government expresses open and blatant contempt for the people over which it rules should not those same people have contempt for that government?

Globalism and the thrice removed elitist mentality and ideology it produces, is not working out so well for the locals.
