Just watched the whole thing. I think Rand Paul getting 18% sounds fair. He was his usual consistent, calm, organized self and he sure had his cheering section together as well. I assume his army of young people were burning up their phones voting for him. His closing remarks, in which he referred to himself as the only true fiscal conservative in the race, had the moderators exchanging glances.
Unfortunately, it’s about more than fiscal conservatism this time, important as that is.
The others were lackluster except for Christie, who made the best case I’ve ever heard for electing a governor over a senator.
Megyn went after Cruz with videos, since she didn’t have Donald to insult.
It’s worth watching. I finally found it on YouTube. It didn’t go up right away. I guess Fox wanted to wait until their later repeat was over.
Neither of them are fiscally "conservative"; they just like to make that claim.
Yes, this audience was packed with various bused in supporter groups.
I live in the Tri-State area and have quite a few friends who live in Jersey, so I know ALL Christie. I won't EVER vote for him!
Thanks for your summary. :-)
