A General would be a good choice. Do we have any military people connected to congress besides Scotti Brown. He help carry any needed stage and is ??
Sessions might be good. Would lend “gravitas,” to use the old word. I’d keep Cruz out for AG or USSC. Tim Scott is perhaps a choice.

I mentioned in another thread where I see Rubio cutting into the Cruz vote pretty hard, giving Trump a solid win. The Canadian thing has hurt Cruz badly; and after a while, he becomes pretty annoying.

I agree, Cruz has become very annoying. He’s the definition of a calculating opportunistic politician. Trump has exposed Cruz for what he is.
