Turnout is the key in Iowa. What is the weather going to be? during the caucuses will have some impact on turnout.

He reminds me of a Potemkin village. Can you get elected with nothing but words to your credit? Of course, Obama did it.

I’m for the builder.

I heard it is going to be cold but no snow until Tuesday. I was worried about Cruz winning because of turnout, but tonight I found out that Santorum’s Iowa campaign manager from 2012 is Trump’s campaign manager and he knows Iowa like the back of his hand. He won it for Santorum and will win it for Trump.

Do not worry, Trump will win Iowa.

Well, I can see Ted’s on fire.

In that photo it looks like his pants.

Go Ted... go... seek water.

It looks like there’s a lot of effort involved in getting to be elected President of Iowa.

Cruz should win, Iowa at best. 2nd at worst. Nice place to be with 49 states to go.

Perhaps Clint Eastwood can give the intro to the Trumpless podium tomorrow night.

Yes, the empty chair/podium. How appropriate.

Herod known to us as "The Great" from the biblical account of the birth of Jesus, was called "Great" not because he was a good or even a decent human being but because he was a great builder. Herod The Great was a vicious murderer and a tody to Rome.

If you want to vote for Trump "the builder," I suggest you take a very serious look at the career of Donald Trump as described HERE before you commit the rest of us conservatives to a candidate whose career in building deserves more opprobrium than credit.

What is the weather going to be? during the caucuses will have some impact on turnout.

Initial forecast for Monday nite, Des Moines area: 50% chance of snow, low near 25.

Worse the further north & west, the better further south & east. And trending worse day-to-day.

I read that. I was in the construction business for many years and we thought about taking on NY but figured the mob would eat us alive and we weren’t up for it. I think anyone who is in that business in NY has to make peace with the mob. It’s just the way it is. As it was, we had to deal with the local unions and of course the mob was involved with them but not to the quite malicious degree.
You have to be VERY TOUGH to survive in NY in that business.

I could care less about the banruptcies - that’s what those laws are for and in fact I’m shocked that anyone thinks of this as a big negative especially considering Trump’s comeback from the brink.

Trump's career is discreditable not just as a builder but in virtually every endeavor which he has touched from failed football leagues, to contentious beauty contests, to failed involvement in the fight game, to unnecessary contacts with the Mafia, to sordid participation in the "University" scam and to the despicable attempts to evict tenants from buildings so he could convert them to condos. This list is not exhaustive merely illustrative.

But even as a builder, Trump's exposure to criticism is not limited to his attachment to the Mafia in New York City but extends to tawdry dealings with illegal immigrants, with subcontractors, and politicians. Beyond New York, he does not have the excuse of the Mafia or even unions but his behavior never changed. Wherever Donald Trump has left a footprint, the people hate him.

Well, I could say the same about Cruz...people who know him can’t stand him.

Something Trump said that I read in the last few months...
“I’m no angel but I’ll do right by the American people”.

For a variety of reasons, including why is he doing this - it obviously isn’t for money - I think he does want to save the country he is very proud of.

The people who don't like Ted Cruz are the people we don't like, politicians who are rinos or Democrats, elitists and establishment plutocrats. The people who do not like Donald Trump are just ordinary folks who have been screwed by him.

But Ted Cruz is not hated by ordinary citizens who claim they've been cheated, by business associates who claim they have been betrayed, by tenants who sued because they have been mistreated, by casino gambling commissions who claim they have been lied to, by students who claim they have been defrauded, by buyers of his properties who claim they are shoddy and misrepresented, by universities who have rescinded honorary degrees, or by countless women who have been humiliated. Again, this list is not meant to be exhaustive but only illustrative of the extent of Donald Trump's trespasses.

By their enemies you can know them and Donald Trump has all the wrong enemies and Ted Cruz has the right enemies.
