Jeb Bush ridiculed Donald Trump for planning to skip Thursday's GOP debate here, although he's betting Trump still winds up on the stage.
Literally.
"I've got a $20 bet he shows up," Bush said during a town hall with employees of Nationwide insurance at the company's headquarters here Wednesday afternoon.
Asked by reporters after the event why he thinks Trump might go back on his promise to skip the seventh Republican debate, Bush said, "Because it's in his interest."

Jeb - way dumber than I thought.
$20 whole dollars? Wow Yeb! Make it $20 million and I might take you serious. Your GOPe donors would go for that, right?
It wouldn’t surprise me. He could show up just as the first question is being asked, demand to know where his podium is, and disrupt the entire proceeding, all the time whining that he’s the victim. He would view that as a total win and a major embarrassment for Fox.
Note that CNN and MSNBC were even more unfair but he doesn’t go around attacking them.
Funny thing is this is probably unintentionally the smartest thing Bush has done. I personally believe there is/was a good chance that Trump would show up after he burned through his free media coverage over pulling out. Now however to show up is to prove Bush right about something, and I don’t know if Trump is capable of that.
“Really? He complains about not being treated fairly by the press? He consumes all the press,” Bush said. “He’s a Stradivarius violinist in the Vienna symphony, man. I mean, the press is just being played like nobody’s business. “
Not a bit jealous there are you Jeb!
Can Jeb do ANYTHING right? How could Jeb be wrong at everything
He’d be better off going to the casino and letting it ride on black. Trump, Make America Great Again tour 2016.
Well, whaddaya know? I find myself agreeing with Yeb! on something. I'll take his 20, though. What are they going to do, stop writing about Trump if he doesn't show? If he doesn't show, that becomes the story and nobody will remember a word said at the debate, about which, let's be honest, there's already a miasma of boredom and irrelevance. Does anyone really want to hear Christie or Huckabee droning about their positions on Climate Change? Anyone?
In all fairness, nobody is capable of proving Bush is right about something.
Did his mom leave her purse laying around again?
