British film-goers are unlikely to besiege the multiplexes to see Michael Bayâs new movie, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers Of Benghazi, when it goes on release tomorrow, but if you had been in the vicinity of Des Moines, Iowa, two weeks ago, you could have watched it for free. As part of his campaign tour, Donald Trump reached into his deep pockets to fund a special screening of 13 Hours for his supporters at the Urbandale Carmike Cobblestone 9 multiplex. âMr Trump would like all Americans to know the truth about what happened at Benghazi,â explained the presidential candidateâs representative.
Trumpâs largesse is not an isolated incident. Many others on the political right have been promoting 13 Hours in recent weeks. At the end of the 14 January presidential debate, Trumpâs rival Ted Cruz announced: âTomorrow morning a new movie will debut about the incredible bravery of the men fighting for their lives in Benghazi and the politicians that abandoned them.â By that time, Rick Santorum had already referenced the movie in the preceding undercard debate. Fox News has devoted some three hours of airtime to plugging the movie over the past few weeks, across 24 segments. Introducing a 13 Hours special, Fox anchor Megyn Kelly described it as âthe gripping new film that may pose a threat to the Hillary Clinton White Houseâ â which tells you pretty much all you need to know about why âwhat happened at Benghaziâ is such a preoccupation. Just to clear up any ambiguities, Foxâs Andrea Tantaros went one step further, stating: âIf anyone sees this movie, which they should go see it, and then goes on to vote for Hillary Clinton, theyâre a criminal.â

Nice picture. My favorite picture of Hillary was taken when she was on a stage speaking and some woman threw a shoe at her (it missed wildly). Old Hillary, for some weird reason, thought it was a bat and scrunched her whole body up. The picture captured the essence of her soul.
NO. Nothing will "take down" Hildabeast. We had a velvet coup.
"Dear Leaders" are chosen by the Ruling Class. "Elections" are to placate the masses and shaped by the media to create the illusion that they are legitimate.
“could Michael Bay’s Benghazi movie take down Hillary Clinton?”
My pocho latino friends who saw the movie yesterday sure think so. The wife was so mad at the CIA station chief who told them to stand down that she was talking back to the screen.
No
In the movie, there was no mention of Hillary, Obama or anyone else in power, which in my opinion, completely let them off the hook. Instead, the villain was the CIA chief in Benghazi. A marginally informed person could see this movie and go away saying, the request for help never got through the channels to Washington.
Don’t do that to poor Charlie.
My son saw it and says it’s very damning to them.
â⬠<-—What are these things? They make it hard to read the article.
other people are seeing this right.
Where have you been the last 6 months?

I can’t even remember yesterday.
Washington Post had an interesting op ed today:
Third, Clintonâs email scandal has receded in the news, but itâs growing more dangerous every day. It is an iceberg that cannot be avoided. As I always say, in politics, being innocent is only an advantage, and likewise, being guilty is only a disadvantage. Neither is necessarily determinative. But it appears that Clinton mishandled classified information, and that she didnât do it alone. Others on her staff appear to have been part of a regular practice of sending now-classified information over Clintonâs secret server located at her home in New York. Legal experts around town that I have spoken to are matter-of-fact about this prima facie case. There is no question among the experts I talked to about whether she is guilty; there is only a question of whether the Justice Department will indict, slow-walk the case or stiff-arm the FBI. And you routinely hear that the frustrated FBI is not going to be willing to go quietly in the face of the clear evidence it has collected.
HTML entities... those are supposed to be quotation marks, either double quotes, single quotes, dashes, etc.
There is some problem in the page's coding. Probably not saving as UTF-8 for some reason.
FR has been having this issue for a while now.
You might consider yourself to be the luckiest person in the world.
Or at least the easiest to win an argument with.
: )
lol, not if you use my FR chrome extension.
I keep forgetting about the weird characters until I read a comment about them.
Thanks!
Wait, what are we talking about?
;)
The movie has very course language and extreme violence. But it is true to life and not gratuitous. I normally would not see, let alone recommend an R Rated movie...but in this case every adult American should know what happened in Benghazi.
I have two requests.
The first is to God in Heaven that He will see that Justice is served on those who failed their countrymen so horribly for pure political expediency.
The second is to all fellow Americans, to make sure that those people, particularly Hillary Clinton, who abjectly lied about these events for political reasons, NEVER be allowed to have the reigns of power like she so desperately craves. In such a position, she would surely do even much worse...as if this travesty was not bad enough.
