Of course they are. This is all about the Donald. Now if the vets get something out of it, great. But don't for a minute think that Donald is really doing this for the vets.

Remember during the last debate when Trump made that stirring speech about the 9/11 first responders in response to Cruz's "New York Values" comment? I'll bet all the Trump supporters were so proud about how much Trump supported those first responders. But did he really?

"In the aftermath of the 2001 terror attack on the World Trade Center, Donald Trump, a billionaire son of New York City, did not make a single charitable donation to any of the not-for-profit groups that provided aid to survivors, rescue workers, or the families of cops and firemen who died trying to save others, Internal Revenue Service records show.

Since 2001, the Trump foundation's tax returns contain a single donation that is identifiable with a 9/11 charity. In 2006, Trump gave $1000 to a controversial Scientology program that administered treatment to firemen who inhaled toxins while working on the World Trade Center pile. The New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Fund, co-founded by actor Tom Cruise, relied on a "Purification Rundown" invented by L. Ron Hubbard, the crackpot founder of Scientology."

So if he could not be bothered to help support the 9/11 responders, and since there is no public record of him or his foundation ever giving to help wounded warriors in the past, why should we believe that his sudden campaign-time concern for them is genuine?

So what? Everything is political now. Even if it isn’t.

Why should you care?

Somebody benefits.

Maybe we should ban people who watch it. /sarc

What say you?

So it is political. Are you going to donate and at least make a difference?
