Ted Cruz’s American restoration
The Jerusalem Post ^ | 01/26/2016 | CAROLINE B. GLICK

Posted on 01/27/2016 12:25:49 PM PST by justlittleoleme

Incremental change simply will not do. The world is changing too quickly and dangerously for a hesitant successor or one that fails to recognize that the entirety of Obama’s foreign policy must be rejected from the outset.

-snip

Cruz ..... isn’t in politics to make a deal. He is in politics to make a difference.

Cruz opted out of a lucrative career in the private sector because he believed that it was more important for him to serve his country. Over his four years in the Senate, Cruz has worked tirelessly to block Obama’s domestic and foreign policy agenda. He has been Israel’s most outspoken ally. He has been the most outspoken critic of Obama’s nuclear and financial capitulation to Iran and his betrayal of America’s Sunni allies.

Cruz has used all the power of his office as senator to fight the Obama administration’s radical policies. But that is not all he has done. Cruz has worked with grassroots organizations in Texas and throughout the country to empower the public to stand up for its rights.

-snip-

Most of the things that Cruz has done for Israel for instance, have brought him no advantage. Cruz did more than any other Republican to force the administration to end its ban on US flights to Israel during Operation Protective Edge.

-snip

Through Ted Cruz’s willingness to match his words with his deeds, and do what he believes even when doing so bring him no benefit, and through his clear recognition that American foreign policy must rest on the simple rule of being good to your allies and bad to your enemies, Ted Cruz has proven that he alone has the courage and the competence to lead an American restoration.

He has been Israels most outspoken ally.

Only two Americans have gotten standing ovations by the Knesset.

Ronald Reagan and Ted Cruz.

Trump pledges to move U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem when he is president. Cruz says the same thing. So I’m still good with both.

Go Trump!

Cruz may be good for israel but not good for America.
He supported ubama’s pacific trade sale out.
He supported increased visas for foreign workers to help depress US wages and help his crony capitalist donors.
he is the guy who went to border to welcome and give teddybears and other goodies to illegals at the border.
he is doing bidding of banks like citibank and goldman sacs.
He is not senetor of TX but of GS (goldman sucks)
Go Trump!!!

Welcome to FR!

Although I don't agree with you obviously, good luck with the candidate that you support. From the article.

By all accounts, Cruz is one of the most gifted living litigators. If Cruz had wanted a successful career outside of politics, he would have had his pick of top firms and corporations beating a path to his door.

In other words, if he had wanted to make billions and be a deal maker like Trump, the road was open before him.

Cruz opted out of a lucrative career in the private sector because he believed that it was more important for him to serve his country.

All I ask is that you examine Ted Cruz's history, he is a very good Christian man who loves the constitution. I firmly believe he would be very good for this country.

Have a blessed day!

Of course he would.

Some contribute only static, pay no attention to them.

Cruz represents an golden opportunity. If we pass then I suppose we deserve what we end up with.

That's the problem right there. We don't want grafters, professional politician class. We want successful people in their field and then enter politics briefly to serve country.

That's why founders set congress term to be short 2 years. And senate was really state legislature representatives so they can be changed at whim of governors and state legislatures. Of-course stupid 17th amendment changed that.

But in modern times 20th century onward it has become topsi-turvy. Politics has become profession and also they have power to set their perks and salaries. So they don't waste any chance to suck our treasury dry.

They don't have nation's interest at heart. Senators don't protect state interests. Congress has become country club.

He supported ubama’s pacific trade sale out.

TPA has been around since the 60's. It's nothing but a structure within which trade deals are fashioned. Big deal.

He supported increased visas for foreign workers to help depress US wages and help his crony capitalist donors.

You mean like crony capitalist Trump who uses H1B workers?

No, not like that, because Cruz increased visas ONLY if the foreign worker was to be paid the going US rate - Thus *not* depressing US wages. So try again.

he is the guy who went to border to welcome and give teddybears and other goodies to illegals at the border.

Riiiight 'cuz giving toys to kids is baaad.

he is doing bidding of banks like citibank and goldman sacs. He is not senetor of TX but of GS (goldman sucks)

Trump owes Goldmann Sachs way more than Cruz... Trump bumps elbows with the highest echelons of GS, and every other wall Street Bank... He's friends with them... He IS them.

So go peddle your crap someplace else.

This is why I'm praying to our Lord that Ted Cruz will be our next president.

MUST-READ BUMP

Bump your bump. I share your enthusiasm for Senator Cruz.

I say that with an asterisk, that he really does need to get that birther crap out of the way. It could be an issue now, but it'll be an issue in court this fall, if he's nominated.

But it continues to puzzle me, how many candidates for the presidency these last 16 years have had NBC issues -- or in the case of John Kerry, treason issues.
