Watched a National Lampoon documentary on Decades last nite.
They had a cartoon/poster with a quote “I’m Nelson Rockefeller and I can do anything I want.”
He was pointing a gun where a man’s head USED to be.
So also was Trump joking to make a point with super exaggeration.
People used to say of Clinton when prez that he could have sex with Mother Teresa on the white house lawn and no one would care.
That type of exaggeration is a form of affection expressed for Clinton... I doubt even democrat were really 'true believers' to that extent - anymore than Trump followers would allow Trump to shoot people. Again, it's a form of affection...
