Russia hunts for pilot's killer in Syria-Turkey border town
Published January 27, 2016 FoxNews.com
Seeking "revenge," Russian forces stormed a Syrian town on the border with Turkey hunting for the attacker who claimed he shot and killed the pilot of a downed Russian jet, state media reported Monday.
A Turkish F-16 fighter jet shot down the Russian aircraft near the Turkish border north of Latakia, Syria on Nov. 24, a senior U.S. official tells Fox News. Soon afterwards, Turkish citizen Alparslan Ãelik said in a video that he killed the pilot on the ground because Russia had been dropping bombs minutes before the jet was downed.
"There is no place for a person who has bombed civilian Turkmens every day," Ãelik said, according to Turkey's Hurriyet Daily News. He reportedly added, "Reprisal is the most natural right."
Russia claims special forces rescued the other man on the jet, a navigator.
State media report the gunman is in the town of Rabia, in Latakia province, which Syrian government forces recently recaptured from rebel fighters.
Russian president Vladimir Putin's government did not make clear what would happen to Ãelik if soldiers found him, but they were looking to "take revenge," according to state media.

I bet they won’t be charged with murder for killing the enemy.

I’m surprised that whole area hasn’t assumed room temperature. Putin is getting soft.

I'm thinking that the dictator of Russia puts the interests of Russia first whereas the dictator of America puts the interests of America last.
It is all a question of priorities.

They are doing it the correct way. They will succeed while obama stands around with his finger up his nose.

Seeking "revenge," Russian forces hunt for pilot's killer in Syria-Turkey border town Good for them. This is how a rational nation deals with this sort of thing.

Good for them. This is how a rational nation deals with this sort of thing.
A rational nation being not hell-bent on multiculturalist suicide like western European countries, that is willing to fight back against the Orcs. I don't think Putin is the kind to cry over the smell of burnt Orc in the morning. He is old school... kill them all and let God sort it out. He is a Russian nationalist, not some GLOBALIST. The US needs a leader who is an American nationalist and not some GLOBALIST like Obama, Hillary or Bloomberg. My definition of a globalist is someone who favors global power over national power, favors national power over state power, favors state power over local power, and favors local power over individual power. There is a pecking order.

I hope they crucify the killers.

One world leader fights to win. All world leaders fight to win, it's just a matter of who they fight and who considers their victories wins, too.
Putin fights for his interests and his interests seem to coincidentally agree with the Russian people, too.
Can't say the same for Merkel, for example, and who knows who or what obama is fighting for.
