Could not agree with you more dynoman. I wonder how Fox would react if Obama did not want Kelly covering one of his newscasts? She simply would not be there. IMO he does not feel that she is fair and balanced /sarc. The fact that they are talking about it as much as they are, says to me, that he has made his point. The message is as important as the one sending it. As President, he controls the message and the sender, just as every President has done before him, hence the need for a press secretary.
Trump needs to learn a simple lesson... sometimes you can’t burn bridges. He burnt bridges with Megyn and now she’s still there and he’s the baby duck who isn’t. He hasn’t learned the lesson. What happens when he burns bridges with Putin, or Bibi, or someone else much more important than Megyn who just doesn’t go away? He’s a baby duck....
