Donald Trump wasted no time Wednesday morning fanning the flames of his newly reignited feud with Fox News star Megyn Kelly.
"I refuse to call Megyn Kelly a bimbo, because that would not be politically correct," the Republican presidential front-runner said in an early morning tweet. "Instead I will only call her a lightweight reporter!"
Trump has taken issue with Kelly since the two faced off in last summer's Fox News debate - the first Republican debate of the 2016 election cycle.
Trump's last throw down with "The Kelly File" host was similarly punctuated by the b-word [Aug 24, 2015].
The rivalry was restarted Tuesday night after the real estate mogul announced through his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, that he would not be participating in Thursday's Republican debate, which is slated to air on Fox News.
In a pre-rally press conference in Iowa City, Iowa, Trump referred to Kelly as a "lightweight" and a "third-rate reporter," and suggested he would be sitting out the debate in favor of a charity event for the Wounded Warrior Project.
Kelly quickly responded on her show by declaring that she would not step down as moderator.
Her network soon followed suit with their own response, accusing Lewandowski of threatening Kelly, and vowing to not to give into "terrorizations."
She went on Howard Stern and discussed her boobs and husbands penis.
That said, I don’t think that is why Trump said it. He is really an ignorant juvenile who never got a very necessary backhand from his dad.
I support him but it is hanging by a
thread.
As the potential leader of the free world, I think it lowers the dignity not only of the office but the country to use Twitter to hurl personal insults lat your rivals.
It is simply embarrassing that someone running for that office would stoop that low. That goes for all the candidates who have done it.

Trump hasn’t mentioned the bimbo hardly at all since that debate.

Trump has as much class as the Kardashians. Of course, they are tabloid superstars too, and every grotesquerie boosts their sales, as their freak show fans don’t care. But at least some of Trump’s supporters should pause to consider whether they think the country is so far gone that this kind of thing can win a national election. Or if they want this in the White House for four years.
Not childish. A tactical part of a larger strategy. The press has been undermining the country since Cronkite, and possibly since Hearst.
It has to be dealt with. The press in this country isn’t the ‘balancing force’ the founders thought it would be. It’s a fifth column.
Trump is out to hobble it. I’m actually surprised he didn’t ask why OneAmerica network wasn’t hosting a debate. Might as well toss in a competitor to take from Fox what Fox took from NBCCBSABC.
Like most news readers, Megyn is a bimbo. Of course, she thinks she is a genius and doesn’t realize everyone is laughing at her. Sad.
