Donald Trump wasted no time Wednesday morning fanning the flames of his newly reignited feud with Fox News star Megyn Kelly.
"I refuse to call Megyn Kelly a bimbo, because that would not be politically correct," the Republican presidential front-runner said in an early morning tweet. "Instead I will only call her a lightweight reporter!"
Trump has taken issue with Kelly since the two faced off in last summer's Fox News debate - the first Republican debate of the 2016 election cycle.
Trump's last throw down with "The Kelly File" host was similarly punctuated by the b-word [Aug 24, 2015].
The rivalry was restarted Tuesday night after the real estate mogul announced through his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, that he would not be participating in Thursday's Republican debate, which is slated to air on Fox News.
In a pre-rally press conference in Iowa City, Iowa, Trump referred to Kelly as a "lightweight" and a "third-rate reporter," and suggested he would be sitting out the debate in favor of a charity event for the Wounded Warrior Project.
Kelly quickly responded on her show by declaring that she would not step down as moderator.
Her network soon followed suit with their own response, accusing Lewandowski of threatening Kelly, and vowing to not to give into "terrorizations."
What does that have to do with your snickering, childish comment? Seriously, what grade are you in?

This IS handling MK, and brilliantly. What else do you do when they try to force you into a no-win situation? You refuse to play the game.
Trump is doing one better, and changing the rules of the game, forcing them into a no win scenario.
That’s what I want him to do to Russia and China.
But really, you just hate Trump. If this was your candidate, you would be falling all over to love him over this. In reality, I would lay ten to one odds that you’re bitter that he stole your last chance to fling mud publicly at him.

Forget about it. Trump and his worshippers can’t handle serious questions. Mostly, they just make ad hominem and ad feminem attacks.

All Trump supporters should boycott watching FOX. Now that Trump has 40 percent in polls that is big enough to wound FOX. Too bad OANN isn’t available everywhere it could get millions of viewers.
I realize that with a POTUS like Obama in office, Putin looks pretty damn good right now. That doesn’t make Putin any less of a thug. It makes Obama all the more pathetic and feckless.
World leaders respected and feared Reagan, who upheld the dignity of the office. Trump’s petty behavior is beneath the dignity of the office.
I applaud his effective pushback against biased media and political correctness. These actions are not that.

If WW goes along with Trump, would they be jeopardizing their tax-exempt status? I wonder what the Foundation’s lawyers are advising?
I ask the question because in this week’s super-heated political environment, the WW Foundation might seem dangerously close to becoming an arm of the Trump campaign.
You missed the point. It isn't about Ms. Kelly. Trump is doing what any smart Republican should have done a long time ago - resetting the relationship between the press and the candidates and politicians. Why on earth should our Republican candidates agree to go on a TV debate which is designed to make them look bad?
Why do you think Fox invited a self declared Muslim YouTube activist to participate in the debate? Why was Ms. Kelly interviewing Michael Moore?
Its about time a Republican stood up to a slanted, biased, activist media.
