about half the potential audience. The last debate on Fox Business drew 11 million viewers, this one will probably draw 5-6 million. I admit that I never intended to watch...there's been waaaay too many of these staged events with too many losers on the stage.
As with all marketing, its all about demographics.
Fox may pray to pull in a few million Democrat gawkers who only tuned in to make fun of Trump, but that makes absolutely no difference to the people on stage, especially those other than Trump. In short, if I have the Sham Wow guy selling a meat slicer, I might pick up some Vegan viewers that tune in for the wow-factor, but I don’t care, because they aren’t every going to buy the product.
Cruz won’t be picking off Bernie votes, he is going for conservative votes, and those weren’t tuning in for Trump.
