Morning Sneakers, I could careless about the Kabuki theatre, of Donald Trump not going to the debate, or Ted Cruz, challenging him to a one on one debate, there’s way bigger news than that such as what went down in Oregon, in hours of the night. Israel’s electrical power grid getting attacked Twain’s newly elected president announces a visit to the disputed islands, in the South China sea.The 101st Airborne division, being deployed to Iraq and Syria, once Obama gets his war authorization. Iran once again harrsing, and warning U.S. warships coming into areas were they holding Naval drills. I could go on but I really don’t care about Trumps and Cruz’s pardon my french pissing contest, they are other issues that should be covered.
Whether Trump and Cruz know it or not, they are helping to draw attention away from all of those issues. They should be talking about them. It’s a good chance to show how they would handle those situations should they be elected. I’m tired of the sniping at each other as well. I’m sure everybody is.

I have been weary too of the constant backbiting, high school antics...until I read the Fox Tweet...the one taunting Trump.
When DH comes home, the tv must be turned on he MUST watch The Five and it’s on to Brett Bair at 6p (don’t know what I’m going to do til Tuesday when Pens play again after the NHL AllStar Break—Pens games are the ONLY respite from his Fox jones). So last night Bair interviews Trump (who seemed grumpier yet fired up)...the interview seemed to escalate and at the end Trump alluded to his unhappiness w/Fox and being played with. Bair, either w/a problem w/the feed or just showing his snark towards Trump totally dismissed Trumps claim of Fox prejudice against him. And then Trump got really mad. I wish I could remember exactly, word for word, the exchange, but it left me w/the impression Trump takes no crap from anyone. Period.
I wonder what Trump has up his sleeve. I’m feeling more like Trump has a “surprise” to drop on the GOPe AND Fox before Iowa.

I didn’t know about Israel. Wow. How long til they try something like that here? I’m off to go read about it.
So Fix had invited this Trump hating, YouTube “star” Noor to ask questions and call him a “hater” for his stance on STOPPING immigration from Muslim countries “til we figure out what’s going on.”

We don’t have cable, but have the Fox New Channel app where they are pretty generous with playing clips and entire inteviews. I’ll have to look that one up. I don’t care for Megyn Kelly at all. She is rude and the ‘gotcha’ questions she asks are counter-productive. For Trump the last debate, in which she was one of the moderators, was a fiasco. In spite of that, he should show up anyway. He won’t lose supporters over it.
Megyn Kelly is a closet democrat, she just pretends to a fair and balanced center right Journalist. I mean during election she couldn’t hardly contain her glee once it was known that Obama was relected.
We stopped watching Fox News for a good while after that last election. It was sickening to watch her.

I was surprised by the anti-govt theme of the new XFiles. I guess w/only a six episode run that they are moving the story line along quickly. I wonder if Kyle& Molly will somehow lead Scully & Mulder to their own son (William).

I’m with you. Trump has something, maybe several things not the least of which is CNN telivising his town hall opposite the debate.
Only caughgt a bit of Quinn this morning and was busy the rest of the day.
