Looking at this from a political perspective, I think that the Perkins endorsement outranks the Falwell endorsement among social conservatives.

And Politico is, if anything, the true voice of social conservatism!! And no one knows the Constitution, particularly Article II, like Ted Cruz, doncha know? Clearly the Family Research Council needs guidance on that part.

I realize that some who haven’t been in the trenches fighting the Culture War over the past decade may not be overly familiar with Tony Perkins. But those of us who have been are very familiar with him.
Side note: Months and months ago, someone asked who our dream team would be for President/Vice President. My choice was Antonin Scalia/Tony Perkins.

Actually I'm one of the few Santorum supporters on this site. But as a long time active social conservative, I think that I can speak to the value of this endorsement.
