Cruz was unsuccessful at leading them to do the right thing.

Donald has far better negotiation skills. He will be able to lead them.

Donald actually agrees with the Democrats. He's just been bamboozling the naive and gullible.

And he'll pick them apart along with what is inside their pockets.

And let’s see....ONE against 90% scum among the other 534! At least HE fought the good fight. Where was Donald? Obviously, oblivious to Obamacare’s destruction of health care, and on the side fighting Cruz.

IMHO, NONE of the things that MUST be done to save our Republic from eventual, final destruction are NEGOTIABLE.

Trump is a more-or-less-sincere patriot (even if he is far too narcissistic to be sincere in more general respects), but not the kind of patriot that we need.

Trump is a nationalist, but we need a nationalist who is a Constitutional originalist. Trump is a populist, not a republican. Our nation's Framers LOATHED populism, since it is the lynchpin of unbridled democracy--and our Framers LOATHED such democracy because of its inevitable corruptions (for example, negotiations of non-negotiable matters concerning the CONSTITUTION).

In short, if you think that our nation is so far gone that Cruz cannot fix our problems, then I would respond that it is way too far gone for Trump to fix the problems.

Remember: You are supporting some who has lavished praise on Obama and Hillary for their outstanding leadership. My goodness, Trump can't spot the worst political monsters in American history. And you want Trump as your POTUS?
