Molly, most conservative lawyers seem to disagree with your notion of natural born citizenship. Most conservative lawyers maintain that the Constitution's language--i.e., the original intent--refers to a citizen from birth (like Goldwater or McCain, neither of whom were born in the United States), as opposed to someone who had to be naturalized.

I admit that there is a lot of smoke-blowing going on over this, but I think the majority interpretation of Cruz's eligibility is a whole lot safer than a Trump presidency.

Sorry to disagree. I studied the Constitution a long time ago and that part hasn’t changed. There has been no Article 5 Convention by We the People to change it! We have however, since then been inundated with Harvard and other “Elites” that try to shove the Living Constitution doctrine down our throats. So called “experts” exist everywhere. i don’t let them do my thinking for me. Vattel says both parents must be citizens and the child must be born on American soil. That was the intent of the Framers. It was the intent of this country 50 years ago. The Constitution hasn’t changed, only the progressive Marxists have succeeded in warping people’s minds. Trump is a Natural Born Citizen, Cruz is NOT. if you wish to further destroy the Constitution and move further away from original intent then vote for Cruz. You will be destroying that which you profess to protect.
